UGANET has conducted legal aid outreaches in vulnerable communities to empower people living with HIV/AIDS and other marginalized persons to know and defend their human rights.
Our outreach services include community education, legal aid mobile clinics and use of music dance and drama as well as community radio.
We target the most vulnerable, mainly women, children; palliative care patients; prisoners and the persons with disabilities.
We have legal offices in five regional offices which offer free legal aid and counseling as a follow up for clients who report that their rights are being denied due to their HIV status or vulnerability.
